Did you know reflectors are responsible for over 70% of the lamps' curing power… that’s why we recommend changing the reflectors during lamp change-out. Doing so will increase the curing consistency, reduce future maintenance and extend life of the lamp. SPDI sells a convenient Lamp/Reflector kit customized for your needs..

Trusted Source
For over 14 years SPDI has been a trusted source for the supply and manufacturing of replacement UV Lamps. As an Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) SPDI understands more of what's needed than a regular lamp manufacturer or re-seller. We see the whole picture and provide knowledge and support based on experience.
Most other lamp suppliers ignore the reflector where SPDI points out that a reflector is responsible for over 60% of your curing power. The worse the reflector then the more lamp changes you need. SPDI also uses the highest grade materials to promote lamp life as much as 20%.
We design and manufacture a wide selection of UV lamps and reflectors, as well as complete UV systems.
Our Range
We can adapt or upgrade any lamp by customizing physical properties or even adjust lamp output to fit your curing requirements.
We carry lamps for such well-known machines as; Vandam, Convac, Polytype, Kammann, Dubuit, Heidelberg, Hankey, and Kamori, and UV systems such as IST, Metalbox, Aetek, Hanovia, Primarc, Nordson, Fusion and many others.
If we don't already make it then simply send us one that still ignites and we'll make it just for you. 90% of the time we can improve on what you already have which equals longer lamp life or less lamp changes.
Call us with your specific lamp and reflector application needs, or use our on-line Lamp Specification Form.

Electrodeless UV lamps
SPDI offers a line of direct replacement electrodeless UV lamps that are designed to match performance and longevity of OEM lamps.
In this design, the mercury in a quartz sleeve is vaporized by microwave energy rather that by the electrolode process. Major advantages over lamp with electrodes include instant on-off capability, much longer bulb life (3000-5000 hour warranty) and bulb with smaller diameter, which in combination with reflector design, results in higher efficiency. With electrodeless mercury vapor lamps, a very high intensity can be generated at a working surface, well in excess of 150 mW/cm2, enabling very high cure speed.
Spectral outputs of three most popular electrodeless bulbs are shown below:
The "H" bulb output is most similar to a conventional medium pressure mercury electrode type lamp output. In the "V" bulb, output has been shifted strongly into the visible region, while "D" bulb has been tailored to exhibit characteristics of both bulbs. The "D" bulb is often used to achieve good cure depth. "H+" bulb exhibits enhanced emission and shorter wavelengths, effective in promoting surface cure.
